I had been looking forward to Jo and Liam’s wedding for a long long time, booked pre covid and then had to cancel due to the pandemic and then baby three on the way, it was a long time coming. It was also my first time at Lapstone Barn too, and I could absolutely see the attraction of this beautiful warm and friendly barn hidden in the Cotswolds countryside.

We all arrived and straight away starting bustling about, the kids arrived shortly afterwards and ran straight into their mothers arms, everyone was really looking forward to the day and Jo just hoped the kids wouldn’t burn out too quickly.

She walked down the aisle alone, an inspirational moment and one that took Liam’s breath away. One of the most beautiful ceremony I have ever photographed with such meaning and intention, as the late autumn sun shone down on them through the sky light.

The guests were in for an absolute treat for the entertainment for the day was The Glos Magican and Mr Andrew James on the piano, followed by a surprise visit from The Singing Waiters, but wait a minute that wasn’t all, for later in the evening Ellie the Sax player joined us.

It has to be said that this was one of the most fun filled packed weddings I have photographed to date, did the kids burn out, absolutely not thanks to The Shropshire Wedding Nanny, and besides they were having way to much fun, just like me and the guests.
