Louise and Marc have literally been together for donkeys years, and after 2 kids and a couple of house moves, they finally, after all these years, decided to tie the knot and have a blooming big party, and what better place to do it then at The Frogmill.

Leading up to the wedding it was great getting to know Louise and Marc and finding out more about them and how they would like their day to flow. They really were a very fun and loving couple, and very relaxed in each others company, which I suppose you would be after all these years, and their children too, absolutely gorgeous.

Louise wanted a simple wedding with lots of whites and sages for her colour scheme, a small vail and a no-fuss dress, bridal prep, as usual, an absolute giggle as the younger bridesmaids bobbed about adding to the excitement. Marc, bless him, thought he was as cool as a cucumber until it was time to get into his suit and tie the dreaded Windsor knot, and once again thought he could keep his cool during the ceremony, I always love this bit, as you never know what emotions are going to overcome the groom, as Louise glided down the aisle as cool as a cucumber, it was Marc that was full of emotion.

A hot sunny afternoon meant that most of the day was spent outside on the stone balcony and amongst the dappled shade of the garden where bottles of beer and G&T’s were consumed before being welcomed back into The Mill Room for the wedding breakfast and speeches. By this time the atmosphere was really buzzing, with everyone joining in with the speeches and shouting and cheering.

The last bit of the day was the cutting of the cake, which very nearly didn’t happen due to Louise and Marc having to much fun, but we managed to squeeze it in right at the end of the evening before finishing of with the the first dance before everyone pilled onto the dance floor.

The day had gone brilliantly, our initial chat with how they hoped their day would flow had certainly been fulfilled, a fun wedding and a blooming big party.
