It’s always an absolute treat to be at the Matara Centre, and I just can’t express enough how much I love this venue. The whole vibe is so magical and it must be such a wonderful feeling to say your vows and to spend your wedding day at such a beautiful and peaceful place.
I arrived and popped across to the cottage to see Claire, and bless her, she was so nervous and excited all at the same time. Her fabulous day had finally arrived, and with it the sun, and she just hoped that all of the planning would be worth it and their wedding day would be as magical as she had dreamed of.
It wasn’t long before the time came for Claire and Tim to say their vows to each other, and within such a peaceful and tranquil place and amongst the people that really matter to them the most, well, it couldn’t have been more perfect. They were then heralded out under a shower of confetti before being left to mingle with their family and friends in the courtyard garden.
After the wedding breakfast and the speeches it was time to clear everyone’s head with a lovely stroll through the labyrinth of this wonderful rambling garden for Claire and Tim to plant their tree. Tim wasn’t sure what to say and I think he felt a bit uncomfortable at this point and looked to his family to help him along and to find the words to say. He had nothing to worry about as everyone joined in as they reached out and connected at such a poignant part of the day.
The most beautiful golden hour blessed their evening, and as everyone wandered back, I took advantage of this fabulous romantic lighting to capture some more of Claire and Tim before heading back.
