It was great to be back at Hatton Court, especially on such an exciting day as this one, for these two had known each other since secondary school and had fancied each other for years and years across different time lines and universities but only finally got together after covid.
Their mums and dads and all their friends and family were overjoyed with where their journey had lead them and with every shot taken there was nothing but hugs and laughs and tears of joy. But it wasn’t until the speeches that I got a true insight into their story and how their love for each other developed over time.
Wow this wedding was out of a book, it should be made into a film of how they met and fell in love, all the train journeys, the drunk university parties and long texts after. I was absolutely captivated, finding out more and more about this wonderful couple in front of me. But the best was yet to come for me, a glorious sunset, and as the sun cast it’s long shadows over the decking, well there was the front cover of the book, right there.
I certainly hope I did these two justice with my story telling photography, and I believe I have and very much look forward to the next exciting chapter of their story together.
