I first met Megan and her mum at a local wedding fair, we instantly got along and chatted about her young family and how on earth she was going to find the time to organise a wedding. I found myself getting very excited for her day and her approach at planning her wedding at such a new and unusual venue such as Dunkertons

I didn’t meet Fergus until the actual wedding, of course I was quite nervous about this as I had no idea what he was like or even what he looked like. As I walked into the church, a smart young man came rushing over and met me with a big handshake and massive smile, I clearly had nothing to worry about, a very likeable chap indeed.

The rest of the day played out beautifully, the kids were absolutely gorgeous and allowed to play and run around and do what ever they wanted (under adult supervision of course.) Dunkertons vibe was relaxed and informal, perfect for young families with little ones who still want to have a good time. But one of the best bits for me was the ginormous metal cider barrels. WOW what an icon awesome back drop, and with such a fun wedding party I was utterly in my element.

Megan and Fergus had an absolutely wonderful day at Dunkertons who pulled out all the stops and made it effortless for them, it even ending with an epic golden hour and finished off with a banging live band.
