What an incredible day we had at Owlpen Manor with the most insane weather for the time of year. From the moment we arrived the sun just didn’t stop shining, lighting up every corner of the little darling church and spreading long shadows across the landscaped gardens.

I walked into the bridal sweet and was met by my two favourite hair and makeup ladies who were busy doing a fabulous job and creating a delightful chatty vibe. I absolutely loved Beth’s choice in hair doo’s with the Hollywood wave cascading down over her bare shoulders and against such a stunning simple dress it certainly had the wow factor that positively blew her dad away.

The church was filled to bursting with Lewis and their little boy greeting everyone and nervously waiting for the ceremony to start. At the beginning I stood at the back of the church to capture the atmosphere of the room and Beth walking up to the church, but soon moved to the front to where the action was about to happen. In she glided and she looked beautiful, during the whole ceremony the look on Lewis face was an absolute picture and the entire service was a sheer joy to be apart of.

As we went into the confetti walk I mentioned the popular dip kiss which they were keen to do, and I must say they absolutely nailed it to the guests surprise. They then lead the procession into the ornate gardens where they mingled with their friends and family bathed in glorious warm sunshine.

With the couple portraits we took a fabulous walk around the grounds with the low autumn sun skimming the hills and reflecting off the lake, such a beautiful space to linger where Beth and Lewis took a moment to themselves. I gently coordinated them, but to be honest a slow walk while holding hands, and a gaze across the gardens was all I needed to create such a whimsical moment in time.

After this beautiful stroll away from the energy of the wedding, Beth was keen to get back for the speeches, and of course some food as we were all absolutely starving, followed by the evening disco, where everyone could relax, let down their hair and carry on celebrating.

A truly glorious day to capture from beginning to end for such a lovely young family, who certainly had the weather gods on their side for this early November wedding.
