I first met Sian and Sharon at a wedding fair and straight away we hit it off. They were so excited about their day and had lots of ideas and dreams of how they wanted their wedding to be, but they were also a little bit worried they were getting carried away. I listened to their hopes and concerns and thought wow, what a lovely couple, so honest and funny and could clearly see how much they loved each other and how good they were together

The morning of the wedding they got ready together where they calmed each others nerves while simultaneous got really excited at the same time. This was the sweetest thing to photograph where I recorded all of their pre wedding nerves as they hugged, cried, poured lots of prosecco and basically had a good old laugh.

With the ceremony Sharon walked down first with her mum, followed by Sian with her dad, such an emotional moment where neither of them could keep it together. They were so happy to have found each other and to have arrived at this wonderful point in their life. They shared this beautiful ceremony with their closest of family and friends who were equally as moved to be with them on such a special day.

The walk around the grounds was an absolute hoot where the pair of them giggled at how happy they were and how nerve racking the ceremony was. We walked up the hill to the bench, the far distant trees putting on a fabulous spectacle of burnt oranges and yellows, and then down to the lake, which was as still as a mill pond, before going back to the wedding breakfast. Sharon gave a small speech and then everyone tucked into a fabulous feast from Strawberry Fields, who always put on a good spread.

The rest of the day was utterly perfect with more guests arriving for the evening doo, but Sian and Sharon had one last secret to share, matching suits for after the first dance, where they could ditch the long white dresses so they could party on into the night.
