“A small wedding,” Julie said “for only the closest of friends and family, just a little celebration.”

Well it was none of the above, instead an utterly fabulous day played out with a feeling of luxury and deep tones and rich golds. This wedding had been meticulously planned to make everyone there feel very special and truly valued.

Julie and Mark had in actual fact done the legal bit a few days before hand, as they wanted the true wedding at Curradine Barns to be delivered by a celebrant who could really make their wedding vows personal to them. A candle was lit for the people they had lost, and close friends and family came forward and draped the colourful cords over Julie and Marks wrists, ready for them to pull their hands together symbolizing the binding of two lives.

Next came the bit that Curradine Barns do very well – food and drink. We all spilled outside into the cobbled court yard while plates of gorgeous nibbles and colourful drinks were handed out. These guys ate, drank, partied, cried, and laughed. A small wedding Julie said, just a little cerebration 😀
