The Manor by the Lake is one of my favourite venues to photograph at, the yew tree walk simply sublime and the Manor itself certainly has that WOW factor. Every time I’m there I always wonder what it would have been like back in the day.

Well Lara and Jamie had this wonderful manor for the day, Lara started getting ready at The Cottage, while Jamie put up the crisp wall (a sensation amongst kids and adults alike) Lara then swiftly moved across to the bridal room for the final preparations while Jamie got ready in the man cave. You have to give it to the team at Manor by the Lake for this seamless transition, they nail it every time.

Lara slipped into her fabulous dress while Jamie waited nervously under the white pergola for their outside ceremony to begin, as Lara swept down the steps with that fabulous train behind her, the look on Jamie’s face and the bridesmaids was just gorgeous.

The confetti tunnel, the drinks and crisps on the lawn, every part of The Manor was used and enjoyed by everyone. Later on the couple shots in front of the Manor, the yew tree walk and then that evening down by the Lake, a beautiful – out of this world – lord of the manor setting for this happy couple.

Lara and Jamie absolutely loved their day at The Manor by the Lake, and were thoroughly looked after by the team. From bridal/groom preparation, to the ceremony to the speeches and the first dance, these two were treated as Lord and Lady of the Manor, I bet it was so hard for them to leave the next day.
